<p>Second Shift- Lab Technician: 5 Day Work Week With Competitive Pay</p> <p>The Lab Technician plays a key role in ensuring product safety, quality, and consistency. This position supports food manufacturing operations by testing ingredients and finished goods, verifying formulations, and identifying potential issues early-before products reach customers. You'll work hands-on in a wet lab environment, using laboratory equipment, computer systems, and Microsoft Excel.</p> <p>We're looking for someone who values accuracy, teamwork, and integrity and who enjoys working in a stable environment that prioritizes quality.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing on ingredients and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications </li><li>Accurately follow testing procedures and document results to support food safety and product quality </li><li>Verify product formulations to ensure consistency and identify discrepancies early in production </li><li>Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in a wet lab environment while following GMP standards </li><li>Record, analyze, and report lab data using Microsoft Excel and computer-based systems </li><li>Operate a forklift-or learn to operate one-to move materials or samples as needed </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience in a relevant setting </li><li>Hands-on experience working in a wet lab environment </li><li>Familiarity with laboratory equipment and proper equipment care </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic analysis </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Degree in biology, chemistry, or a related science field (preferred, not required) </li><li>Experience in food quality testing or food manufacturing (distillery, or similar) </li><li>Forklift experience (training available if needed) </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Wet lab environment in a climate-controlled facility </li><li>Second shift: 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceburg, KY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $26.44/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
