<p>Established in 1930 to protect the lakes and streams of the upper Yahara watershed, the District is a wastewater collection and treatment utility serving about 435,000 people in 24 Madison-area owner communities covering about 191 square miles. The District owns and operates 151 miles of pipe and 18 regional pumping stations that convey approximately 38 million gallons of wastewater to the Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant daily. When you think about your career and what you want to accomplish in your lifetime, choose to do Work Worth Doing!</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Under general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is part of the District's Operations and Maintenance (O&M) division and is responsible for supervising the District's electrical and HVAC maintenance programs using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and supervising a team of skilled electricians and HVAC technicians that maintain the electrical and HVAC components of District facilities at the treatment plant and within the collection system. This position is a key member of the District's Maintenance team and coordinates electrical maintenance activities with other cross-functional groups to ensure the District can fulfill the District's mission, vision, and values.</p> <p>The person in this role is expected to remain up to date and current on new developments in the electrical and instrumentation aspects of wastewater processing and treatment and contribute that knowledge during planned infrastructure projects as well as during day-to-day operations. This position will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to meet standards and guidelines, have a growth mindset to a multi-faceted and mission-driven operation while having a focus on maintaining a positive work culture.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Salary Range: $86,681.50 - $117,274.98 Annually Want to know what it's like to work with us? Candidates without the certificate will be required to achieve it within 24 months. </li><li>Experience working for public utility, wastewater treatment facility, or other industrial environment. </li><li>Experience formally supervising team of electrical staff. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Qualified applicants must address their experience with qualifications in their application.
