<p>WPHL-TV is hiring!</p> <p>WPHL-TV/CW is hiring an energetic & dynamic Executive Producer/Co-host for a daily hour-long lifestyle show launching in Philadelphia this fall.</p> <p>The show will highlight local businesses and events happening throughout the Delaware Valley to help promote our brand - We Are Philadelphia.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Lead a lifestyle show in the 5th biggest market in the country. </li><li>Superior on-air presence-Interviewing guests/clients in the studio and on location. </li><li>Knowledge of current events, pop culture, and community connections. </li><li>Help find local engaging stories to highlight on-air and on social media. </li><li>Researching show topics and developing questions for guests in coordination with the Co-host/Reporter and Producer. </li><li>Actively participate in daily content meetings </li><li>Writing, copy editing, researching and coordinating content and in-studio pieces for all platforms. </li><li>Working with Producer and Co-host/Reporter in booking guests. </li><li>Ensure all guests (clients/other) are associated with a legitimate organization. </li><li>Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations. </li><li>Working with Production and Creative Services teams on taping schedules (in studio and remote production) and live show management. </li><li>Station Representative at Community Events, either station sponsored or other, to promote the show and the station </li><li>Work with sales department to help ensure a positive experience for clients. </li><li>Assisting sales department on presentations, including meeting with clients. </li><li>Ability to deliver pre-live shows and pre-produced stories on time and on brand. </li><li>Ensure all segments are posted the same day to shows website and daily social media posts. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Creative Services Director. </li></ul> <p>Requirements and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience </li><li>An infectious personality that viewers will love watching each day and an unparalleled passion, work ethic and drive </li><li>Excellent organization and communication skills required to actively work with all departments (Sales, Marketing, News, Production, Programming, Creative Services) at the station </li><li>Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work alone and as part of a team </li><li>Minimum two years On-Air Lifestyle Hosting & Producing Experience </li><li>Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying deadlines </li><li>Ability to lead a small team </li><li>Ability to shoot video is a plus, but not required </li><li>Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, but not required. </li><li>Knowledge of ENPS </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Software, especially Outlook and Microsoft Word </li><li>Demo reel of previous hosting/reporting experience required (no exceptions). </li></ul>
