<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>This Position is responsible for the 3 operations in the chocolate Panning process which consist in operate an automatic panning/polishing machine and pack the finish product. The automatic panning machine equipment consist in covers with coatings nuts and fruits with a percentage of chocolate depend in the production recipe and customer requirements, then the product gets transferred to a polishing unit which shines the panned product prior to be packed. There are 2 associates reporting to this position (Packer, Helper). Operator is responsible to maintain all aspects of production runs during their shift, including shift end. Meet production standards and submit all shifts documents with accurate and detail information.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Fill out material worksheets </li><li>Fill out all quality forms </li><li>Consume in the system (AX) material used during production and report any discrepancy to supervisor </li><li>Inventory accuracy in the work center </li><li>Match retain sample with actual production (validation of quality) </li><li>Train and instruct temporary employees. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment, and keep work area clean and organized at all times. (follow 5s-GMP's) </li><li>Perform department shut down procedures. </li><li>Inform supervisor of any problems (equipment, material shortages, formulas, and employees) to the supervisor as they occur. </li><li>Performance allergen change over and have QA sign off before start production </li><li>Turn work order packets into supervisor upon completion of the scheduled quantity. </li><li>Conduct scrap reporting according to procedures. </li><li>Fill out production report based on completed quantity. </li><li>Inform supervisor when propane tanks are low and need to be reordered. </li><li>Complete labor report. </li><li>Run efficiently and follow all procedures related to job responsibilities. </li><li>Report any safety concern to supervisor. </li><li>Must cross-training in all positions within of department. </li><li>Run a continuous process from one shift to the next. One operator taking over for the other operator (tag in tag out). </li><li>Continuous employee empowerment. </li></ul>
