<p>Performs tests and examinations in the field of Nuclear Medicine.# Obtains data used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.# Accurately records results of testing.# Follows hospital and Nuclear Medicine policies and guidelines of the New York State Department of Health. Currently licensed by the State of New York as a Radiologic Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technologist.# Certification or registration by ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB required, BLS certification required, Bachelors degree desired. Manipulates mechanical and electrical equipment within the Nuclear Medicine Department necessitating good manual dexterity, visual accuracy and hand/eye coordination.# Prepares and handles radiopharmaceuticals judiciously according to protocol to avoid any unnecessary radiation exposure.
