Not only are we excited new residents are enjoying living vibrantly at our community, we're also excited about our talented, compassionate team of professionals who exemplify commitment and passion.</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Gatehouse Attendant/EMT is responsible for ensuring all residents and visitors are greeted and welcomed in a warm, inviting fashion. They are also responsible for verifying and documenting the scheduled presence of all third-party contractors, visitors, vendors and guests entering the property and ensuring they know where to go and who to ask for.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <p>1.Ensure all interactions with those entering and leaving the premises are done embracing our hospitality promises.</p> <ol start="2"> <li>Delivering exceptional service to all entering and leaving the premises and ensuring that their visit/stay exceeded expectations. </li></ol> <p>Other Required Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls. </li><li>Develops and maintains a good working rapport with residents, family members, visitors, and personnel to assure that security procedures meet the needs of the facility. </li><li>Assists with special security needs as they arise involving employees, visitors, and other members of the community. </li><li>Provides written report of any community incident during the shift that Director of Facilities and other administration may need to be aware of. </li><li>Maintains entrances in facility for safe passage at all times. Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms. </li><li>Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor. </li><li>Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>CPR/AED Certified </li><li>EMT Classification Required </li><li>Class D License preferred </li><li>Available on short notice </li><li>Ability to read, write, and understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. </li><li>Must be able to make decisions quickly and in accordance with established protocol. </li><li>Must have or be willing to be trained in first responder and first aid training. </li><li>Exceptional hospitality and customer service focus is a MUST!! </li></ul> <p>Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
