We welcome applications from those qualified to teach introductory, intermediate and advanced courses.</p> <p>We seek adjunct faculty committed to teaching and working with our multicultural student population, teaching courses as needed at the undergraduate/graduate level.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <ul> <li>Teach in-person specialty classes populated by students majoring in the following areas: Biology, Health Sciences, Nursing: this includes the new Anatomy & Physiology. </li></ul> <p>Occasional Duties Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>M.A. in a biological science </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate instruction and to mentoring students </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching introductory biology and advanced courses including human anatomy and physiology. </li><li>Experience with nontraditional students and with an ethnically-diverse student population </li></ul> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <p>Teaching/instruction is performed in a traditional classroom setting.</p> <p>Posting Detail Information</p> <p>Posting Number A00052 Benefits Eligible?
