Coordinates the clerical nursing activities with those of other professional, general, and supportive systems. Notary Public required within 60 days of hire. Functions under the direct supervision of the Director Women and Infant Services or a Registered Nurse. Processes soiled instruments from operative and vaginal deliveries, replaces all supplies, clean monitors, orders supplies, facilitates chart assembly and birth certificates, performs hearing screens, and varied supportive tasks. Demonstrates knowledge of patient population specific to that department.
