<p>College: Fletcher Technical Community College</p> <p>Department: Academic Affairs & Initiatives</p> <p>Sub department: WorkReady U</p> <p>Type of Appointment: Unclassified - Administrative/Staff (Grant Funded)</p> <p>Salary: $21.30 per hour</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain performance standards and pursue goals, objectives, and activities that promote the mission, vision and value statement of the College. </li><li>Coordinate and proctor approved assessments, including Locator, TABE, TABE CLAS-E, HiSET practice tests, and other approved institutional or program-related exams as assigned. </li><li>Assist with scheduling individual and group testing appointments in coordination with students, instructors, staff, and outside agencies. </li><li>Prepare testing materials, sign-in sheets, rosters, testing spaces, and related documentation in accordance with established procedures. </li><li>Maintain testing security and confidentiality of materials, records, and student information. </li><li>Monitor testing sessions to ensure compliance with testing rules, procedures, and standards. </li><li>Assist with make-up testing, post-testing, and retesting as directed. </li><li>Help maintain a quiet, organized, and secure testing environment. </li><li>Provide students with information regarding testing procedures, identification requirements, expectations, and next steps. </li><li>Assist with approved testing accommodations and support procedures as directed. </li><li>Collect and organize testing documentation for submission and timely score entry. </li><li>Communicate testing schedules, concerns, irregularities, and student issues to the WorkReady U Data and Compliance Manager. </li><li>Assist with inventory, organization, and secure storage of testing materials and supplies. </li><li>Support backup proctors and assist with procedural consistency as needed. </li><li>Foster, demonstrate, and actively participate in a culture of mutual respect for students, guests, and co-workers from all backgrounds, perspectives and abilities. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors and utilize appropriate channels of communication within the college community concerning procedures and/or inquiries. </li><li>Attend and participate in scheduled activities, which include graduation, open house/recruiting events as assigned, convocation, and required meetings. Share ideas and information, and work toward common department and College goals. </li><li>Serve on college committees as a member or as chair. Serve on search committees. </li><li>Participate in professional development activities that enhance effectiveness (convocation, LCTC conference, etc.). </li><li>Represent the college in a manner that promotes a professional and positive image. </li><li>Adhere to College and LCTC policies. </li><li>Embrace college culture. </li><li>Complete all required assignments prior to deadlines (Fletcher/LCTC trainings, etc.). </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Education: Associate degree.</p> <p>Preferred Experience: Experience in testing, student services, office coordination, education or related administrative work.</p> <p>Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
