This appointment is expected to be approximately 2 months at 40 hours per week. This appointment is expected to be approximately 2 months at 40 hours per week. Duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the preparation and maintenance of an integrated data system containing data with varying units of analysis, structures, and formats </li><li>Create documentation and other artifacts to facilitate the use of data included in the data system </li><li>Conduct statistical analyses including descriptive statistics, graphical displays and statistical modeling </li><li>Assist with research and evaluation project deliverables including reports, data visualization graphs and/or tables, and presentation slide </li><li>Effectively communicate project updates and statuses to project team members </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>Demonstrated experience organizing sets of data files into an integrated data system </li><li>Demonstrated experience preparing data with varying units of analysis, structures, and formats </li><li>Demonstrated experience preparing data user artificacts such as codebooks and reusable code </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment </li><li>Good oral and written communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks and projects with overlapping timelines. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree </li><li>Experience with R </li><li>Experience preparing data using a syntax based statistical software program </li></ul> <p>Anticipated Hiring Range</p> <p>$25 - $27/hour commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>To be considered, you must complete the application at www.umkc.edu/jobs including Legal Name, US employment eligibility, and current contact information.
