The QC Technician is a task-based assignment. Responsibilities can include sampling of raw materials, water and environmental monitoring, analytical testing, entering test results, and other laboratory maintenance activities. This position will work under the oversight of a fully trained QC Laboratory Team Leader.</p> <p>Responsibilities & Duties</p> <ul> <li>Sample raw materials, water and packaging for analytical and microbial testing in accordance with established procedures using aseptic technique. </li><li>Collect environmental monitoring samples using proper techniques and according to applicable procedures. </li><li>Organize and review incoming raw material samples and associated paperwork. </li><li>Perform simple analytical tests under the supervision of a QC Scientist. </li><li>Perform laboratory housekeeping and maintain general order in the lab. </li><li>Maintain inventory of general laboratory supplies and reagents and order/receive stock as required. </li><li>Maintain calibration program and perform instrument calibrations as needed. </li><li>Dispose of completed samples and support chemical waste removal from the lab. </li><li>Prepare/send samples requiring 3rd party testing. </li><li>Receive and review results of 3rd party testing and enter results into Colorcon's LIMS. </li><li>Report any OOS results to quality leadership in a timely manner. </li><li>Exhibit a working knowledge of Colorcon LIMS and Oracle database applications to maintain accuracy of records. </li><li>Maintain an awareness of cGMP and ensure compliance with those regulations as they relate to their activities. </li><li>Observe applicable quality procedures and SOP's. </li><li>Assist with other duties within the Quality Control Department as needed. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Minimum of one year of experience in a quality control lab or equivalent experience required. </li><li>Knowledge of cGMP required </li><li>Knowledge of USP and FDA regulations preferred. </li><li>Organizational and communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Position is fully on site at our West Point facility. </li><li>Working hours are Monday- Friday from 6:00AM to 2:30PM </li></ul> <p>Location:</p> <p>420 Moyer Blvd</p> <p>West Point, Pennsylvania, 19486</p> <p>United States</p> <p>Hourly - 0.00 - 0.00</p> <p>Colorcon participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
