<p>The University of Akron, a NCAA D1 Institution (FBS) and member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) is seeking applicants for Head Strength and Conditioning coach for Women's Basketball. This position will direct the</p> <p>development and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for the University of Akron Women's Basketball Team.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <p>Supervise the workouts of women's basketball student-athletes during practices and pre-season conditioning.</p> <p>Design workouts for the wbb team and individual players while maintaining and updating computerized workouts.</p> <p>Oversee the purchase of needed supplies while performing general maintenance and cleaning procedures on equipment.</p> <p>Collaborate with athletic trainers to analyze athletic injuries and facilitate the rehabilitation process through strength and conditioning workouts.</p> <p>Perform testing procedures and evaluate results from strength and conditioning workouts for the purpose of recording information and implementing needed improvements</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Requires a relevant Bachelor's degree. Required Certification: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.). Requires a minimum of 2 years experience coaching strength and conditioning workouts at the collegiate or professional level is required. An understanding of the technical</p> <p>fundamental and principles of weightlifting required.
