Gathers information on patients' illnesses and medical history to guide the choice of diagnostic procedures for therapy. </li><li>Trains and supervises student or subordinate nuclear medicine technologists. </li><li>Develops treatment procedures for nuclear medicine treatment programs and participates in performance improvement projects. </li><li>Calculates, measures, and records radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed of, following physician's prescription. </li><li>Detects and maps radiopharmaceuticals in patients' bodies using a camera to produce photographic or computer images. </li><li>Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients to detect or treat diseases under the direction of a physician. </li><li>Produces computer-generated or film images for interpretation by a physician. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Active Listening -- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
