Greet and provide assistance to all patients and visitors.</p> </li><li> <p>Make appointments for patients checking out and in any WQ that requires an appointment to be scheduled.</p> </li><li> <p>This includes, but not limited to, creating estimates, scheduling referrals, scheduling procedures, and scheduling radiology.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with insurance companies regarding clinical information required to resolve issues relating to coverage and payment.</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain benefits, prior authorization/pre certification and medical necessity reviews for services prior to being rendered.</p> </li><li> <p>Calculate and collect payment for services.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all insurance requirements are met prior to patient's arrival and inform patients of their financial responsibilities prior to arrival for services.</p> </li></ul> <p>JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally required through a high school education, with some postsecondary education preferred. Additional training or working knowledge of related business. </li><li>Two years experience working in hospital service access, clinical service access, physician office or billing and collections. Or, an Associate's degree in a healthcare related field and one year of experience working with the public.
