We specialize in Industrial, Commercial, and Military paint and coating applications. Our team is looking for qualified candidates to help us as we grow and take on new challenges.</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Blaster is responsible for using high-pressure equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Operate both sand and steel shot blasting equipment </li><li>Prep and clean a variety of surfaces for the next step in the production process </li><li>Clean, adjust, and maintain equipment </li><li>Transport materials in and out of area using manual or powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively </li><li>Must be able to endure extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling </li><li>Ability to follow basic work instructions and interpret blueprints </li><li>Organizational skills and attention to details </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED SKILLS (or we will train)</p> <ul> <li>Ability to operate multiple types of blasting equipment and machines </li><li>Read a job traveler </li><li>Read a Blueprint </li><li>Operate forklift, pallet jack, or crane </li><li>Look up expired material </li><li>Look up and understand Work Instructions </li><li>Package and Carton according to WI474A and WI474B </li><li>Perform Water break testing according to WI069 </li></ul>
