<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Adult Education Career Navigator and Workforce Readiness Coordinator needed. This program runs from September, 2025 to June, 2026</p> <p>Compensation is $41 per hour.</p> <p>This is a Part-Time, Non-Union position.</p> <p>There are no benefits associated with this position.</p> <p>Interested Applicants must apply online at www.milforded.org this posting to be considered.</p> <p>No phone calls please.</p> <p>Scope: Milford Public Schools Adult Education program seeks a qualified applicant to work with adult learners to assist with career exploration, developing workforce readiness skills, making appropriate connections with and for students to community services and employers. This job's primary goal is to help ensure Milford Adult Education graduates have the needed skills to find gainful employment following successfully achieving their educational goals.</p> <p>Essential Tasks of the Position (Illustrative, not Inclusive):</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Adult Education Director and other members of Milford Public Schools leadership team to provide adult education students educational and career options leading to gainful employment once students exit adult education programming </li><li>Develop a robust career readiness program and curriculum that students are exposed to during their time in adult education programming </li><li>Assist with short and long-term goal setting </li><li>Assist students in developing self- and career exploration tools </li><li>Help students to develop job search tools such as resumes and cover letters </li><li>Assist students in problem solving to overcome barriers to education and employment </li><li>Perform other tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Adult Education </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding to the learning and emotional needs of adult learners </li><li>Commitment to learning about and utilizing local and state support resources </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous work experience with adult education or workforce development preferred </li></ul> <p>Terms and Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Part-Time, Hourly, 2.5 hours per week </li><li>This is a grant funded position that is subject to grant funding year to year </li></ul> <p>Reports to: Adult Education Director</p>
