Operating acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, outpatient facilities and ambulatory care access points, an insurance offering, a physician network and various related services located all over the U.S. States, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom. www.uhs.com</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Corporate Insurance team at UHS is looking for motivated Manager- Corporate Risk Analytics to assist performs analysis, applies mathematical calculations and determines methods to improve the processes within the Risk Management Department by impacting safety, outcomes, service, cost/claims and productivity.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitors the effectiveness of processes, providing timely feedback, setting ever higher targets, and creating a safety culture, benchmarks best practices, applies statistical analysis tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Enhance data driven decision making capabilities, improve operational effectiveness, and reduce costs.</p> </li><li> <p>As a member of PSO Workforce Under the direction of the Division Director, the Corporate Manager of Data Analytics, helps coordinate and implement patient safety initiatives within the Acute Care Division, establishing indicators for monitoring and evaluating the quality and outcomes related to patient care and patient safety.</p> </li><li> <p>The position is responsible for managing the Corporate Risk Management responsibilities regarding Midas Risk Modalities, Riskonnect Enterprise/Marsh Clear Sight, MIDAS reports, MIDAS data harvesting, and multiple division wide databases (e.g. Event Notification System (ENS), and Midas Focus Study).</p> </li><li> <p>Manages the Corporate Risk Management content of the PSO Facility PSES sites as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelors degree required with a minumum of 5 -8 years of acute care healthcare experience. Masters degree preferred.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in the implementation and on-going maintenance of Continuous Risk Reduction Improvement systems in a multi-hospital environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Management experience with progressive achievement in a healthcare environment preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of statistical methodologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to analyze and interpret data and translate abstract concepts into tangible information.</p> </li><li> <p>Project management and meeting facilitation experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading process development and revision.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prepare and present information to the department/division related to ongoing efforts to minimize and reduce risk events in the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with statistical analysis software, Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio.</p> </li></ul> <p>About Universal Health Services</p> <p>One of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
