<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Sr. Account Manager</p> <p>Location: Fremont, CA (Remote considered)</p> <p>At Nextpower, we are powering what's next in energy. Our teams are building the connected power plants of the future with speed, resilience, and long-term value.</p> <p>We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives in complexity, thinks strategically, and knows how to turn relationships into lasting business impact. This is a high-impact role where you will lead major customer engagements, shape deal strategy, and help drive revenue growth across key accounts.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Own and grow strategic customer relationships, managing the full lifecycle from early engagement through deal execution and expansion </li><li>Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, developing winning strategies in competitive environments </li><li>Partner cross-functionally (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to deliver high-quality proposals and commercial solutions </li><li>Structure, negotiate, and close large, sophisticated deals that align customer needs with Nextpower's capabilities </li><li>Develop and execute account plans to identify new opportunities and expand long-term partnerships </li><li>Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM data hygiene </li><li>Conduct customer business reviews and act as a trusted advisor on market trends, risks, and opportunities </li><li>Collaborate with sales leadership on pricing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives </li><li>Manage a team of Sales Analysts/Associates to support our customers </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Strong commercial, technical, and interpersonal acumen </li><li>Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems with sound judgment </li><li>Proven success managing long, high-value B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders </li><li>Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and uncover opportunities </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences </li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously </li><li>Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and drive to winYour work requires conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications. </li><li>You exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. </li><li>You are accountable for results, which may impact your entire function. </li><li>You create formal networks involving coordination among groups. </li><li>You focus on providing thought leadership and work on broader organization projects, which requires understanding of wider business. </li><li>You are required to convey advanced information and to persuade several diverse stakeholders/audiences. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field </li><li>12+ years of experience in complex B2B sales (energy or infrastructure preferred) </li><li>Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Willingness to travel (~35% or as needed) </li></ul> <p>Nextpower offers a comprehensive benefits package.
