<p>GRADUATION MENTOR</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Student Resource Center</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Not to exceed 20 hours per week</p> <p>A high school graduation mentor will work with students, families, and staff to provide supportive interventions to students who are at risk for dropping out.</p> <p>EFFECTIVE DATE OF EMPLOYMENT: As soon as possible after posting period closes.</p> <p>SALARY: REQUIREMENTS: $25.00 per hour, or the hourly collective bargaining rate if applicable</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred. </li><li>Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license, preferred. </li><li>Experience working with adolescents. </li><li>Demonstrated technology proficiency to produce, manage, and use various data collection tools. Knowledge of or ability to learn X2 Aspen and other technology tools. </li><li>Excellent oral, written, and communication skills. </li></ul> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with school-based administrators to identify student caseload and maintain a process for referrals for current or incoming high school students. </li><li>Meet with students and families to identify potential barriers to success. </li><li>Utilize current data systems. </li><li>Communicate with school personnel and community partners. </li><li>Identify and enlist alternative pathways as deemed appropriate and assist students in accessing resources. </li><li>Participate in school-based and home meetings and conduct home visits. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Resource Center </li></ul>
