Every day, you'll help children build confidence, develop social skills, and discover the joy of learning-all while growing your own skills as an early childhood professional.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Child Care & Classroom Support</p> <ul> <li>Provide a safe, caring, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. </li><li>Engage with children through play, learning activities, and daily routines. </li><li>Support positive behavior using consistent, respectful guidance aligned with program philosophy. </li><li>Help maintain a classroom that is organized, stimulating, and welcoming. </li></ul> <p>Curriculum & Learning</p> <ul> <li>Assist in planning and implementing weekly lesson plans with the Lead Teacher. </li><li>Participate actively in classroom activities with enthusiasm and creativity. </li><li>Observe children and contribute to understanding their developmental needs. </li><li>Support individualized learning and respect each child's uniqueness. </li></ul> <p>Teamwork & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Work collaboratively as part of a supportive classroom team. </li><li>Build positive relationships with families and respond to their needs with care and professionalism. </li><li>Attend staff meetings and trainings to support ongoing growth. </li><li>Step into the Lead Teacher role when needed. </li></ul> <p>Program Support & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation. </li><li>Follow all agency policies, including safety, confidentiality, and child protection. </li><li>Participate in center-wide responsibilities (e.g., bus monitoring, light housekeeping, assisting in other areas as needed). </li><li>Continue professional development, including required training hours annually. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience: At least 1 year working with young children.</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications: Teacher Certification required</p> </li><li> <p>Qualifications:</p> </li><li> <p>CDA credential, early childhood coursework, or vocational training in early childhood education.</p> </li><li> <p>Other Requirements:</p> </li><li> <p>Must be at least 21 years old</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to complete ongoing training (including 20 hours annually)</p> </li></ul>
