This work unit supports division professional and organizational development, career development, internal training, and associated policy recommendations for all ECMC employees. This position serves as the Organizational Development Specialist and Staff authority for all of ECMC.</p> <p>Specific job duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas where the organization could improve its performance, culture, or structure. </li><li>Utilize the ADDIE model to assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate ECMC leadership and training programs virtually and in person to enhance management skills and knowledge. </li><li>Facilitate and deliver Developmental Dimensions International (DDI) training programs virtually and in person. </li><li>Facilitate organizational change management efforts, including communications and training. </li><li>Collaborate with all ECMC units to ensure that the organization is aligned with its mission and goals. </li><li>Analyze data and create reports and presentations to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Assess the development needs of all operational, business, and functional units, as well as evaluating and overseeing the implementation of organizational development strategies and processes. </li><li>Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization and helping it adapt to changes in the market and industry. </li><li>Work with ECMC communications and strategic development units to create organizational development communications. </li><li>Work with the Strategic Development Manager to align organizational development goals and information on the ECMC intranet with the goal of connecting staff in meaningful ways. </li><li>This position builds, coordinates and oversees ECMC professional development programs with the goal of facilitating ECMC staff gaining new skills through continuing education and career training after entering the workforce. </li><li>Manages all facets of learning and professional development which includes selecting vendors, designing, implementing, and potentially training custom courses to fit the needs of the agency (i.e., empathy training). </li><li>Identifies statewide opportunities for professional development to ensure staff effectiveness and operational goal achievements </li><li>Serves as the point person for training requests from management or staff related to professional development. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties Assigned.</p> <p>This posting is only open to residents of the State of Colorado at the time of submitting your application.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Experience Only:</p> <p>Seven (7) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position. </p> <p>OR</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to seven (7) years.</p> <p>(Relevant experience would include professional development, training management, organizational development programming, workforce development programming, organizational change management, etc.)</p> <p>Substitutions:</p> <p>Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.</p> <p>Please note: The required experience must be substantiated within the work experience section of your application. In addition, part-time work will be prorated.</p> <p> </p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current or former State experience relevant to this position </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Experience designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs on a variety of topics. </li><li>Experience designing and implementing workforce development programs. </li><li>Experience working with diverse groups of people and adapt curriculum to meet needs of difference audiences. </li><li>Familiarity with Google Suite, including the website. </li><li>Familiarity with the ADDIE model of instructional system design. </li><li>Experience administering a learning management system (LMS). </li><li>Knowledge of Colorado's energy sector. </li><li>Customer service experience, previous public service experience, experience dealing with public, experience with complaint intake/response </li></ul> <p>The current work arrangement for this position is as follows: </p> <p>(Please note, this arrangement can be subject to change)</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid: This is a hybrid position with expectations of weekly in office attendance with occasional travel to ECMC offices around the state as needed. </li></ul> <p>Conditions of Employment:</p> <ul> <li>Must be willing and able to possess and maintain a State of Colorado Driver's License </li><li>Must be willing and able to travel to out of town hearings of the ECMC. </li><li>Must be willing and able to occasionally exert up to 20 lbs. of force to move objects. </li><li>Extended overnight travel may be required to attend meetings and training in other areas of the State. </li><li>You must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be appointed to this position.
