<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Baptist Health Medical Group</p> <p>RN Supervisor</p> <p>CBC Oncology</p> <p>St. Matthews area</p> <p>Full Time/First Shift</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Rounds on staff and patients to ensure patient care needs are met to ensure quality, safety, and patient experiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares work schedules to provide adequate coverage while complying with budgeted FTE requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists/leads performance improvement and process improvement activities on the unit. Assures staff knowledge about targets and actions to meet them.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors and completes timecards for appropriate times and keeps overtime to a minimum.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates the competence of personnel to assure that the staff maintains their competency to perform duties promptly, accurately, and proficiently.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains unit readiness for regulatory inspections.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with the Manager/Director in assuming responsibility for the department to meet regulatory guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists to stabilize patients and intervenes as necessary to support RRT process by proactively identifying potential safety concerns.</p> </li><li> <p>Attends all required safety training programs and can communicate the departments responsibility related to general safety, departmental safety, job related hazards and national patient safety goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively communicates, while maintaining confidentiality and utilizing appropriate channels, with staff, patients, families, medical staff, and the Department Director.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps Manager/Director/CNO well informed about significant issues, events, or concerns.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current RN licensure required</p> </li><li> <p>Three years minimum job-related experience required</p> </li></ul> <p>RN, Registered Nurse, Supervisor, Leadership, Oncology</p> <p>If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!</p> <p>Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.</p>
