<p>Hours:</p> <p>4-5.5 hours per day depending on location,</p> <p>182 days</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>$16.25 per hour (contractual position, no benefits)</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</p> <p>Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.</p> <p>General knowledge of materials and methods used in preparing and serving food on a large scale</p> <p>General knowledge of the use or care of food preparation equipment</p> <p>Skill in the use of standardized and specialized kitchen utensils and equipment</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively using the English language when deemed necessary.</p> <p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, food preparation instructions, and menus</p> <p>Knowledge of health and sanitation regulations for food preparation</p> <p>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, students and school staff</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assist with preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and nutrition breaks to the student population.</p> <p>Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious foods in accordance with the menu and ala carte food items.</p> <p>Receive and stock food supplies. Maintain sanitary conditions.</p> <p>May serve as cashier.</p> <p>Operate dishwasher, mixer, chopper, slicer, steamers, ovens and other food service and mechanical equipment.</p> <p>Prepare and serve the portable food bars where appropriate.</p> <p>Clean and prepare food and equipment in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.</p> <p>Follow standards of safety in preparing, storing, and serving food.</p> <p>Wash cooking equipment and utensils.</p> <p>Perform related work as required</p>
