<p>Location: Mt. Sterling, IL</p> <p>Department: Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI)</p> <p>Reports To: Assistant Transportation Manager</p> <p>Pay Range: $15.59 to $21.10 per hour</p> <p>As a part-time Dispatch Clerk, you will provide support to the Transportation Department in coordination with customers, suppliers, drivers, and other Dot Foods/ DTI employees.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers </li><li>Schedule appointments with customers via phone, email, or web-based formats </li><li>Communicate with drivers on schedules and work assignments </li><li>Work with multiple departments and manage a diverse and hectic workload </li><li>Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position </li></ul> <p>YOU MUST HAVE</p> <ul> <li>Excellent mathematical and reading skills </li><li>Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs </li><li>Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>YOU MAY ALSO HAVE</p> <ul> <li>Administrative/Clerical experience preferred </li><li>Effective professional verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Experience working in both team and independent settings </li><li>Exceptional customer service skills and a strong attention to detail </li></ul> <p>ROLE SPECIFICS</p> <ul> <li>Schedule: Part-time (up to 32 hours per week), flexible schedule, may include weekend hours </li><li>Work Environment: Some exposure to garage/shop environment </li></ul> <p>WHO WE ARE</p> <p>Dot Foods, a pioneer in the food industry supply chain, created Dot Transportation, Inc.
