<p>Location: Indianapolis, IN, United States</p> <p>Share:</p> <p>Quick Apply Now</p> <p>Save Job Saved</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Objective</p> <p>This position is primarily responsible for the repair and service in the field of all Construction Technology which includes various Caterpillar and/or Trimble Construction Machine Control and Guidance equipment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose and repair construction technology equipment, with emphasis on Laser, GPS, and Robotic controls </li><li>Prepare accurate estimates for customer repairs </li><li>Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; work orders, service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts </li><li>Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met </li><li>Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner </li><li>Assist with Operator Training </li><li>Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work area </li></ul> <p>Occasional/Other Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with ordering parts and organizing the parts warehouse </li><li>Attend Trimble and Cat Equipment training </li><li>Data entry as required </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>No formal responsibility for supervising others </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>2 years or more experience with Heavy Equipment Technology </li><li>Trimble and/or Spectra Precision Technology training </li><li>Training with lasers and electronic technology </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to exchange accurate information when speaking with customers, coworkers, and/or vendors </li><li>Frequent use of near and far vision acuity.
