Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Train and onboard new and existing employees, ensuring consistent performance standards. </li><li>Directly manage project management staff, including planning, assigning, and directing work. </li><li>Regularly meet with UCLA Health user groups to align project goals and requirements. </li><li>Oversee large studies within the Leased Community Clinics Portfolio, contributing to the broader vision. </li><li>Develop test-fits, space plans, and master planning programs. </li><li>Represent UCLA Health on UC committees, serving as a key liaison. </li><li>Serve as an expert on Joint Commission, HCAI (OSHPD) Administrative Code, NFPA Codes, and California Building Codes related to planning, alterations, and renovation projects. </li></ul> <p>About</p> <p>Real Estate | Planning, Design & Construction manages building master planning and construction for UCLA Health. From replacing end-of-life imaging equipment to building out new clinics in the community, we are dedicated to supporting UCLA Health's commitment to deliver leading edge patient care, education and research.</p> <p>The full annual salary range for this position is $116,300.00 - $264,600.00/year. The department's target pay range is $180,000.00 - $200,000.00/year.</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience with design development projects. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with multiphase or specialty construction projects. </li><li>Experience with large-scale relocation activities. </li><li>Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility regulations, California Building Code, Title 22, and HCAI (OSHPD) requirements. </li><li>Ability to develop schematic drawings from client-provided information. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as working knowledge of CAD drawing programs, architectural design application programs, and Bluebeam. </li><li>Bachelor's degree or demonstrated five years professional experience in healthcare architecture, engineering or construction. Master's degree preferred. </li><li>Prior management experience preferred. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as working knowledge of CAD drawing programs, architectural design application programs, and Bluebeam. </li></ul>
