<p>The HVAC Install Technician will install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves interpreting blueprints, ensuring proper installation of equipment, and delivering excellent customer service.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, ductwork and related equipment. </li><li>Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints and specifications. </li><li>Ensure Installations meet safety standards, local codes, and manufacturer guidelines. </li><li>Inspect and test installed systems for proper operation and performance. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. </li><li>Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors. </li><li>May work with apprentices training them on how to properly install and test systems. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including job site cleanup. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>CT D1, D2, S1 or S2 License </li><li>Valid CT Driver's License </li><li>OSHA 10 or 30 Certificate </li><li>EPA I, II & Universal. </li><li>Must clearly communicate in verbal and written form. </li><li>Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings. </li><li>Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively with others. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This job operates primarily alone and travels to different work sites each day.
