<p>Reporting Relationship</p> <p>The Club Leader reports to the Site Coordinator.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities & Outcomes</p> <p>Program Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to create outstanding academic achievement and student character development.</p> </li><li> <p>Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment that excites and invests students.</p> </li><li> <p>Motivate students to realize high academic and behavioral standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize data from CCSP's student assessments to drive instruction and intervention.</p> </li><li> <p>Exemplify CCSP's core values in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.</p> </li><li> <p>Support all special education-related services, including Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) during the program.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Program Coordinator, Site Leaders, and school team to improve instructional, culture-building, and leadership skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend all professional development, team planning, and data analysis meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate enthusiastically in structured and informal learning and development opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Team player: maturity, humility, strong work ethic, follow-through, sense of humor, willingness to respond positively to feedback, and a "roll-up-my-sleeves" attitude.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong belief in an "achievement" mission and educational model.</p> </li><li> <p>Research and stay current on best practices in community schools and 21st Century Community Learning Centers.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding and experience of education in an urban setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, and school partners, including school administration and staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Agile/iterative mindset; comfort with throwing away work or making changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work well with a team and independently.</p> </li><li> <p>Have a passion for helping all children achieve their highest aspirations.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, implement, and supervise specialized activities with the Program Coordinator. Specialized activities include College and Career Awareness, Recreation, Cultural Arts, Health and Wellness, Outdoor Recreation, Technology, Character Development, Leadership, and Volunteerism.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead in classroom management while implementing specialized activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Support program administrative requirements, including student attendance, surveys, forms, and lesson plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate Degree (preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>1 Year of Experience in Youth Development</p> </li><li> <p>Very strong computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook.</p> </li><li> <p>Spanish speaking preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>The Community Charter School of Paterson is an equal-opportunity employer.</p>
