If you are an enthusiastic individual seeking an environment dedicated to superior patient care and an organization with a strong mission to serve our community, we invite you to apply!</p> <ul> <li>Expansive benefit package </li><li>Professional development and advancement opportunities </li><li>Strong interdisciplinary teamwork opportunities </li><li>Superior quality patient outcomes </li><li>Supportive leadership and culture </li><li>CEU Support </li></ul> <p>What you will do in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors </li><li>Ensures appropriate documentation, including documentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records; monitors completion and revisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan </li><li>Assists to review and evaluate risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes in order to continually improve performance and outcomes; communicates this information to the nursing department </li><li>Ensures staff completes charting timely </li><li>Manages staffing plans, nursing hours per patient day, and quality of work of nursing staff </li><li>May have patient care assignment in addition to daily responsibilities </li><li>Coordinates and directs appropriate rehab care needs related to patient/family educational needs, barriers or continuum of care requirements </li><li>Serves as a clinical rehab resources for patients/families during their rehab stay </li><li>Assists with day to day coordination/follow-up of patient care and problem resolution </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. BSN </li><li>Preferred </li><li>Current unrestricted state licensure as Registered Nurse </li><li>CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred </li><li>CRRN Certification preferred </li><li>Minimum of two years of previous nursing leadership preferred </li><li>Minimum of two years previous rehab nursing experience preferred </li></ul> <p>UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
