Join our multinational team of intelligent, motivated, and collaborative people, and help us make financial protection accessible to all.</p> <p>A Brief Overview</p> <p>Through your knowledge and experience with fixed income and alternative investments, investment governance framework and investment guidelines, and compliance monitoring of investment limits, the Investment Compliance Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of investment compliance tasks. Working with limited supervision and having a strong ability to work across teams to resolve compliance issues with urgency and integrity, the incumbent plays a critical role on a team that serves as a third-line defense essential to RGA's investment/portfolio risk management covering a wide range of compliance activities. This role will also assist with projects and issue resolution as assigned, perform rule testing, process reviews, research, change management monitoring and issue tracking at the instruction and under review of the Head of Investment Compliance.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the setup of corresponding compliance rules in the Aladdin compliance module and monitor ongoing compliance with investment policy statement documents. </li><li>Troubleshooting and identifying key data issues that are impacting compliance rules and functionality. </li><li>Responsible for the performance of quantitative and qualitative research to further support review findings, including root cause analysis. </li><li>Meet established operating protocols, such as response time, onboarding duration time, and reporting deliverables. </li><li>Assist with key compliance migration efforts and tasks (rule testing, account readiness reviews, etc). </li><li>Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance reporting. </li><li>Collaborate with internal partners and leaders to support the development and execution of compliance workstreams. </li><li>Manage compliance ad hoc requests as needed. </li><li>Participate in special projects and targeted reviews including periodic review of investment guidelines as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics fields required </li><li>2+ Years relevant work experience required </li><li>Investment compliance or operational risk management experience preferred </li><li>Reinsurance or insurance industry knowledge and experience. preferred </li><li>Experience working with Excel/VBA, BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River, or Bloomberg AIM preferred </li><li>Technology savvy, programming and process improvement/automation skills required </li><li>Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment required </li><li>Ability to understand and interpret IPS/IMA concepts and guidelines required </li><li>Broad knowledge of investment business practices required </li><li>Knowledge of accounting theory and practices required </li><li>Ability to multi-task, operate autonomously, and prioritize effectively required </li><li>Ability to share and impart knowledge required </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and influence at all levels, both written and verbal required </li><li>Ability to begin investigations / analysis for problems/issues independently required </li><li>Ability to build relationships and partner across cross-functional teams required </li><li>Knowledge of fixed income investments preferred </li><li>Strong ability for logical reasoning and to translate values to ratios and vice versa preferre </li></ul> <p>What you can expect from RGA:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Gain valuable knowledge from and experience with diverse, caring colleagues around the world.</p> </li><li> <p>Enjoy a respectful, welcoming environment that fosters individuality and encourages pioneering thought.</p> </li><li> <p>Join the bright and creative minds of RGA, and experience vast, endless career potential.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$76,100.00 - $108,050.00 Annual</p> <p>Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
