<p>As Superintendent, you will be playing a critical role in construction projects at Tesla leading the construction of manufacturing facilities. You will be the main coordinator of field operations and will need to work cross-functionally, interfacing with base build, Construction Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering while driving a project's schedule and budgets.</p> <ul> <li>Successfully complex contracted and self-performed construction projects </li><li>Create and drive project schedules, solving critical paths and communicating roadblocks </li><li>Manage contractors </li><li>Develop and maintain site logistics and execution plans </li><li>Employ a can-do attitude, working through challenges with all stakeholders </li><li>Direct work in field, track changes, etc. both individually and leading or participating in a larger team. </li><li>Work with Engineering teams to resolve design roadblocks immediately </li><li>Ensure installation meets end users' requirements and quality expectations </li><li>Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management or related fields is preferred or equivalent experience </li><li>Ideally 7+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills are a must </li></ul> <p>High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam and scheduling software (Microsoft Projects) able to identify and implement the best method to communicate or plan a project and scopes</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to complete objectives or find the correct information </li><li>Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals </li></ul>
