Your primary objective will be to facilitate recovery and promote long-term wellness through evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address addiction, mental health, and life transition issues, fostering resilience and coping skills. This role requires a compassionate, patient-centered approach to counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, aimed at empowering clients to achieve sustainable recovery. Ultimately, your work will contribute to improving clients' quality of life and supporting their journey toward emotional and psychological well-being.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field. </li><li>Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent, or eligible for licensure (supervision hours provided). </li><li>Strong knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse client populations. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in substance abuse and/or addiction treatment and recovery services. </li><li>Certification in Addiction Medicine or Substance Abuse Counseling. </li><li>Experience with crisis intervention and anger management techniques. </li><li>Training in individual therapy and group therapy facilitation. </li><li>Familiarity with trauma-informed care and co-occurring mental health disorders. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' addiction, mental health status, and psychosocial needs. </li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating addiction medicine principles and psychotherapy techniques. </li><li>Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery, mental health counseling, and life transitions. </li><li>Provide crisis intervention and anger management support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress. </li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and social workers, to coordinate holistic care. </li><li>Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes. </li><li>Educate clients and their families on substance abuse prevention and coping mechanisms to support sustained recovery. </li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <p>The required skills such as addiction medicine, addiction treatment, and substance abuse prevention are essential for accurately assessing and addressing clients' complex needs related to substance use disorders. Counseling psychology and psychotherapy skills enable the therapist to deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions that foster healing and personal growth. Mental health counseling skills are utilized to engage clients' support systems and address relational dynamics impacting recovery. Crisis intervention and anger management expertise are critical for managing acute client distress and promoting emotional regulation. Life transitions skills help clients navigate significant changes, supporting resilience and long-term wellness throughout their recovery journey.</p>
