<p>Gore Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Middle and High School Special Education Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about supporting diverse learners and committed to helping every student reach their full potential. This person will work with middle and high school students to provide individualized instruction, support IEP implementation, and collaborate closely with general education teachers and families to ensure student success.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines </li><li>Provide instruction and support to students in resource and/or inclusion settings </li><li>Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and accommodations </li><li>Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation </li><li>Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and participate in IEP meetings </li><li>Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment </li><li>Support students in developing academic, behavioral, and life skills </li></ul> <p>Gore Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p> <p>Required Qualifications - Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate in Special Education (or ability to obtain)</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of IDEA and special education compliance requirements </li><li>Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills </li><li>Commitment to building positive relationships with students and families </li></ul>
