That means we're continually seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help us find better and more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles.</p> <p>Ford is looking for multiple Process Engineer, Machining professionals.</p> <p>GME (Global Manufacturing Engineer) is a cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to plan for and implement the launch of new vehicle programs at powertrain component plants. The Manufacturing Engineer candidate will be a part of this team and be responsible for delivery of projects supporting new programs, as described in additional detail below.</p> <p>What you'll do...</p> <ul> <li>Deliver Manufacturing Delivery Quality Operating System requirements for a Powertrain Subsystem </li><li>Collaborate with Product Development team to generate facility & tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements. </li><li>Use virtual tools to evaluate the feasibility of new model designs for high volume manufacturing operations. </li><li>Write/modify/maintain process sheets and deliver updated Cycle Line Layouts. </li><li>Lead identification, resolution, and closure Machining feasibility issues. </li><li>Create and follow a master schedule for the design, build, and implementation of tools in your subsystem. </li><li>Lead machining installation, start-up, and commissioning at the manufacturing site.
