<p>The Functional Business Analyst (FBA) plays a critical role in supporting and maintaining facility systems, energy management systems, environmental health and parking and transportation systems. This position serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring systems are aligned with operational goals and user needs. The FBA is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating technology implementations, and optimizing processes to enhance system performance and functionality.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. </li><li>Three (3) plus years of experience in business analysis, system administration, or a related role. </li><li>Experience with facilities management, energy management, environmental health or transportation systems preferred. </li><li>Proven ability to gather and document business and technical requirements. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. </li><li>Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools. </li><li>Knowledge of system workflows, integrations, and data management principles. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. </li><li>Experience with reporting tools, data analysis, and visualization platforms </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and support facility systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. </li><li>Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner. </li><li>Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or updates as necessary. </li><li>Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within assigned systems. | Business Analysis and Facilitation </li><li>Work closely with business units to understand their processes, challenges, and system requirements. </li><li>Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements for system enhancements or new features. </li><li>Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather input and prioritize needs. </li><li>Document workflows, processes, and system configurations to support operational transparency and decision-making. </li><li>Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making and operational efficiency. </li><li>Provide data insights to help business units achieve their strategic and operational goals. </li><li>Collaborate with technical teams to design, configure, and implement system updates or new functionality. </li><li>Test system changes, ensuring they meet business requirements and do not disrupt operations. </li><li>Develop and deliver end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support to maximize system utilization. </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with stakeholders to implement solutions. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Not Applicable</p> <p>Tools/Equipment</p> <p>Not Applicable</p> <p>Application Instructions</p> <p>In addition to completing an online application, please attach a resume and cover letter.</p>
