<p>This is an onsite fulltime position.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Primary Care Behavioral Health Provider - Independently Licensed operates as a behavioral health consultant on the medical team utilizing the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model of care. Acting as a generalist, the PCBH Provider sees patients of all ages with wide-ranging medical, behavioral health and behaviorally influenced conditions. As a fully integrated member of the primary care team, the PCBH provider provides episodic behavioral health services and interventions to a high volume of patients.</p> <p>Program Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments and short-term therapy for clients of all ages and families, creating a welcoming and understanding environment for diverse backgrounds, utilizing interpretation services when indicated. </li><li>Prioritize and provide on-demand consultations as well as manage scheduled appointments to individuals, couples, and/or family adhering to the norm of a fast-paced primary care environment </li><li>Utilize therapeutic modalities that support wellness, improved quality of life and behavior change such as behavioral and cognitive behavioral modalities, solution focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, etc. </li><li>Consult with medical colleagues in real-time to enhance understanding of the patient, provide decision support for treatment planning and assist in the implementation and monitoring of biopsychosocial treatment plans </li><li>Close all charts within forty-eight (48) hours of visit - ability to do concurrent/concordant charting/typing; including assessments, progress notes, and billing </li><li>Assist in staff and provider training in integrated behavioral health-primary care model </li><li>Participate in behavioral health quality improvement activities </li><li>Participate in weekly group supervision, and seek peer consultation as needed </li><li>Provide risk assessments and develop comprehensive safety plans, supporting the maintenance of stable functioning and empowering clients in their mental health journey </li><li>Assists non-licensed staff with risk assessments as needed </li><li>Provides clinical supervision to BH Clinical Interns and non-licensed Behavioral Health Providers, as appropriate </li><li>Act as Manager on Duty as needed. </li><li>Keeps abreast of all insurance requirements and submits paperwork accordingly. </li><li>Continually evaluates service and maintains a productivity level that adequately meets the goals of the department and ensures access to the clients seeking services. </li><li>Any and all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Education Requirements:</p> <p>One of the following combinations of education and employment experience must be met in order to be considered for the position:</p> <p>Professional Independent Licensure required: LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD.</p> <ul> <li>For LMHC and PsyD. Candidates: two years post-graduate clinical experience preferred </li><li>Candidates require a minimum of two years post-graduate clinical experience. Minimum of two years post-graduate experience for the PsyD. candidate is preferred. </li><li>Direct clinical work with individuals, children, and families is required. </li><li>Professional Licensure/Special Skills and Certification Required: LICSW, LMHC, or PsyD. required. </li></ul> <p>This position reports to the Manager of Primary Care Behavioral Health Services</p> <p>EOE</p> <p>Monday - Friday; 8:30am -5:00pm</p>
