<p>This is manual work of a routine nature. An employee in this position shall be assigned to light physical labor. An employee in this position receives assignments of an established and routine nature and work is regularly checked for results and adherence to instructions and standards of operation.</p> <p>Operates a pick up truck.</p> <p>Loads and unloads materials and equipment.</p> <p>Sets devices such as cones, sign boards, barricades, etc. for use in static or moving work zones in accordance with regulations.</p> <p>Flags traffic safely through the work zone.</p> <p>Performs grounds keeping, requiring operation of a weed trimmer.</p> <p>Performs other related work as required.</p> <p>Ability to perform work and duties in this position description.</p> <p>Ability to understand verbal and written work instructions.</p> <p>Ability to perform light manual labor under varying weather conditions.</p> <p>Ability to read and write.</p> <p>Ability to operate a truck.</p> <p>Knowledge of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for the State of Ohio in regards to the flagging of traffic.</p> <p>Knowledge of proper barricading and warning signage for work areas.</p> <p>Good physical condition with no serious defects of vision, hearing, or members.</p> <p>Ability to interact positively with and communicate clearly within a team.</p> <p>Must be 18+ years of age.</p> <p>Valid driver's license with driving privileges in the State of Ohio and acceptable driving record.</p> <p>Must be willing to work 4-10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday.</p> <p>Must successfully pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.</p> <p>Must have regular attendance.</p>
