<p>Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA. You will design and develop ingestion and ETL workflows while managing Databricks clusters, job scheduling, and workflow orchestration.</p> <p>Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Developer job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, develop, and maintain scalable ingestion and ETL pipelines using Scala-Spark within Databricks.</p> </li><li> <p>Configure and manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, job scheduling, and workflow orchestration.</p> </li><li> <p>Build high-performance data processing solutions optimized for large-scale datasets across Big Data and Hadoop ecosystems.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure data quality, reliability, and operational efficiency across all pipeline components.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into robust engineering solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot and optimize Spark jobs, pipelines, and cluster performance to ensure continuous, efficient data flow.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>7-10 years of hands-on experience in Scala-Spark development and data pipeline engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven expertise in designing and developing ingestion and ETL pipelines within Databricks.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong experience with Databricks workspace/cluster configuration, job scheduling, and workflow management.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
