Workhorse trucks are built in USA at the company's recently-renovated Workhorse Ranch, a world-class 410,000 sq. ft. manufacturing complex in Union City, Indiana.</p> <p>We are currently seeking Assemblers to perform Electric Vehicle Assembly for our plant in Union City, IN. This is a first shift position, reporting to a Production Supervisor, and may require occasional over-time.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Using power tools and hand tools. </li><li>Using specialty fixtures/tooling and torque tools. </li><li>Developing an understanding of the production process and work with the team to continuously improve. </li><li>Performing non-production tasks, such as part rework, repair, general housekeeping, plant maintenance, etc. </li><li>Always working with a safety-first mentality. </li><li>Positive attitude, good attendance and willingness to learn. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED required. </li><li>Mechanical ability/aptitude. </li><li>Must be able to read/understand/follow written and verbal work instruction. </li><li>Dependable and reliable. </li><li>Quick learner. </li><li>Must be a team player. </li><li>Must be able to stand 10 hours per day. </li><li>Must be able lift up to 35 pounds. </li><li>Frequent bending and walking also required. </li></ul>
