If you are ambitious and have a proven track record in architectural design and engineering, we want you on our team!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate third-party design firms in developing architectural systems, structural systems, and civil systems to ensure they meet project specifications and standards. </li><li>Review and validate design deliverables, such as architectural drawings and structural calculations, ensuring they align with our strict requirements. </li><li>Manage the permitting process, including application preparation and coordination with regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. </li><li>Conduct technical evaluations to verify performance metrics like structural integrity and spatial efficiency, ensuring designs meet safety and environmental standards. </li><li>Work together with external design teams and internal collaborators to ensure designs meet facility requirements and project timelines. </li><li>Perform quality assurance and risk assessments on designs, resolving any issues related to constructability or compliance. </li><li>Ensure seamless integration of third-party designs with other facility systems using BIM tools. </li><li>Support commissioning and occupancy phases by reviewing design performance and coordinating final inspections and approvals. </li><li>Apply design software to confirm interoperability and project alignment. </li><li>Offer technical and creative support to third-party architects and engineers, aligning with industry standard methodologies and innovative design trends. </li><li>Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design deliverables and permit approvals. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, with additional experience in structural or civil engineering. Professional licensure is required; PE licensure is beneficial. </li><li>5-7 years of experience in architectural design, with 2-3 years coordinating third-party design teams and managing permitting processes for large-scale projects. </li><li>Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and civil engineering practices for industrial or high-tech facilities. </li><li>Proven experience with permitting processes and familiarity with relevant regulations and building codes. </li><li>Proficiency in reviewing deliverables using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or data center facilities. </li><li>Knowledge of balanced design practices, such as LEED certification. </li><li>Familiarity with BIM tools for design integration. </li><li>Ability to mentor internal teams and work closely with collaborators to ensure design and permitting alignment. </li></ul> <p>As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
