This role involves working closely with healthcare providers, staff members, and other departments to ensure patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively.</p> <p>Does this position require Patient Care?</p> <p>No</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Develops, maintains, and manages schedules for healthcare staff, including nurses, physicians, and support personnel, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times, considering patient needs and staff availability. </li><li>Serves as the primary point of contact for staff scheduling issues and inquiries by communicating schedule changes, updates, & requirements to staff and relevant departments. </li><li>Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, labor laws, and organizational policies. </li><li>Addresses and resolves scheduling conflicts and issues promptly and efficiently and implements contingency plans for unexpected staffing shortages or changes. </li><li>Utilizes scheduling software and tools to manage and optimize staff schedules. </li><li>Provides support and guidance to staff regarding scheduling policies and practices. </li><li>Facilitate communication between healthcare staff and management to address scheduling concerns. </li><li>Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of staff schedules, hours worked, and other related documentation. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <p>High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Healthcare Administration preferred or Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred</p> <p>Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Licenses and Credentials</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Customer service experience, preferably in a clinical setting. Call Center/high volume practice experience preferred.
