Serves as the Numbered Air Force Senior Enlisted Functional Manager for the 1C0X2 Aviation Resource Management career field. In addition, trains reservists in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein. The incumbent serves in a developmental capacity, performing assignments designed to further develop applicable analytical and evaluative</p> <p>skills and techniques. This is a developmental position. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position </li><li>AFSC:1C0X0 </li><li>Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series 0301</p> <p>Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 or above grade level in the Federal service which includes knowledge of aviation programs, structure, policies, procedures and legislative issues unique to the reserve for the full range of contingencies from peacetime through full mobilization; knowledge of air operations training administration, policy, procedures, structure, missions, programs and organizational relationships; knowledge of aircraft types and aircrew composition; knowledge of a wide range of human resources programs, operation directives, and procedures which include education and training, manpower, personnel management and administration; and knowledge of Aviation Resource Management (ARMS), its system interfaces, related directives, instructions, policies and procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot/resolve system technical problems.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit copies of your official transcripts.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE and EXPERIENCE: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.</p> <p>FEDERALTIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-09 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-11 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. Ability to apply human resource management, organizational planning, program direction and communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Extensive knowledge of ARMS, its system interfaces, related directives, instructions, policies and procedures. Ability to troubleshoot/resolve system technical problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Skill in PC-based computer modeling techniques and software to implement and maintain analytical tools. Skill in advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access).</p> </li></ol> <p>Other significant facts pertaining to this position are:</p> <ol> <li> <p>This is an Air Reserve Technician enlisted position. The incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. Work schedule will be aligned to allow the incumbent to fully participate in unit training assemblies. The incumbent's regular assignments are primarily ART duties; however, the incumbent may also be assigned non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on commercial and/or military aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments and uncommon tours of duty.</p> </li><li> <p>Highly desirable that the employee have 5 years recent experience in the ARM career field, Advanced Aviation Resource Management (AARM) certification, previous HARM Superintendent experience and experience in management of Air Force Reserve unique requirements ranging from Air Reserve Component Unique Aircrew Flying/Jump/BASIP/SDAP Incentive Pay rules and laws, Air Reserve Technician (ART) and Process Oriented</p> </li></ol> <p>Description (POD) writing for the purpose of identifying required mission work.</p> <ol start="4"> <li> <p>Employee must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance level based on the position's security access requirement (SAR).</p> </li><li> <p>May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. ARTs are eligible for 15 days active duty tour each year for which military leave is granted with full civilian pay. Air Reserve units and members; are subject to immediate call to active duty in mobilization to meet a national emergency. Retired military that have active AF Reserve assignments may apply provided they show assignment (position) on the application.
