Our comprehensive line of products includes: pipe couplings, plain-end fittings, valves, cast and malleable iron fittings, forged steel fittings, steel pipe nipples and couplings, pipe hangers and hardware, channel and strut fittings, mining and oil field fittings, and much more.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products </li><li>Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures and other welding/fabrication hand tools </li><li>Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements </li><li>Fabrication involves laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring and welding metals to create structures/components </li><li>Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work </li><li>Grinding and finishing completed projects </li><li>Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures </li><li>Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area </li><li>Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude </li><li>Ability to develop and design work plans and welding projects to meet manufacturing needs </li><li>Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines </li><li>Ability to use heavy machinery, such as forklift, scissor lift and other mobile equipment </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as MIG and ARC welding </li><li>Previous experience in welding/fabrication </li><li>High school, college or industry courses in welding techniques </li><li>Constant awareness of surroundings </li><li>Requires pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 50 lbs) </li></ul> <p>All job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screen/physical, and completion of required paperwork.</p>
