<p>Job Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for the supervision and instruction of participants at Jaycee Park Center for Arts & Crafts. Classes are scheduled according to instructor availability and participant demand. Class times must fall within hours of operation.</p> <p>The Center for Arts & Crafts is open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 8:30 pm,</p> <p>Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.</p> <p>Pay Rate:$18.00, depending on qualifications</p> <p>Terms: As needed for programs that range from 4-8 weeks</p> <p>Hours: 2 to 10 hours per week</p> <p>Minimum Age: 18 years old, by January 1, 2026</p> <p>This is a continuous recruitment and may close at any time.</p> <p>Examples of Duties</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and instruct introductory-level to advanced students from age 3 to adults; </li><li>Plan, organize, develop, implement, and evaluate specialized art courses; and </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A strong background in one or more visual art fields and knowledge of drawing and painting is required. Preferred areas includeceramics, sculpture, weaving, fiber arts, and a wide range of crafts. </li><li>Four year degree in Studio Art or Fine Arts or comparable experience in art or art education is preferred. </li><li>Prior teaching experience, First Aid, and CPR certified is preferred. </li><li>Applicants should have examples of personal artwork available for review. </li></ul>
