Responsibilities #Responds to employee inquiries by way of walk-ins, phone calls, and emails within 24 hours. This includes monitoring the Total Rewards email inbox. #Meets with employees about any benefit-related questions. #Assists employees with claims issues, including filing and following up on claims with insurance providers. #Maintains strong understanding of all employee benefits plans. #Provides benefit enrollment and administration including enrollment, benefit changes due to life events and terminations. #Understands and is able to convey benefits withholding information to employees on a need-to-know basis. #Coordinates payroll refunds and collection of arrears as needed on a bi-weekly basis. #Supports annual open enrollment process through communication materials, conducting employee meetings and facilitating benefit selections. #Supports employee benefits education by participating in creating written communication, benefits fairs, presentations and webinars. #Maintains collaborative relationships with insurance providers. #Responsible for staying updated on federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits and ensures compliance. #Maintains accurate employee benefits records including beneficiary information and plan electives. #Generates reports on benefit utilization trend and costs for management to review. #Imports withholding information into database system based on reports from vendors. #Reviews data, identifies and corrects errors as needed. #Coordinates employee benefits changes and terminations with vendors to ensure accurate and compliant processing. #Accurately inputs information into database system. #Completes employment verifications to make coordination of benefits determinations and returns form to vendor in a timely manner.
