<p>Summary</p> <p>Manages activities, workflow and nursing resources for one or more assigned nursing units.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s). </li><li>Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s). </li><li>Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s). </li><li>Develops and maintains quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s). </li><li>Monitors and adheres to budget. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. </li><li>Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Required professional licensure. AND 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. </li></ul> <p>#BHNursing26</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Supervisor/Management experience. Med Surg/Cardiac Floor & Swing Beds. Flexible work schedule, primarily M-F, dependent upon department needs. Occasional weekend/holidays. Administrator on call one week every 4-6 weeks.</p>
