It is one of the most exciting times to join the Subway team and contribute to our transformational journey.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>The Leasing Representative role will coordinate the negotiation, analysis, drafting, interpretation and execution of all new leases, lease renewals, and lease renegotiation for the assigned territory. This position will work closely with franchisees, landlords and HQ staff to ensure that leases are handled properly and meet procedural requirements and company policies.</p> <p>If you feel that this is the role for you, and you are successful with your application, be ready to be Bold, Empowered, Accountable, and ready to have Fun in a fast paced and agile working environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Read, review, and analyze leases. Prepare all lease documentation for SRE directors. Handle the negotiation, review and processing of all new leases. Ensure that all necessary background approvals and paperwork are documented and incorporated into all leasing files and that all deals are accurately updated in system/files. Handle the renewal and renegotiation of all existing leases. Drafting and reviewing amendments during renegotiations. Assist store owners in renegotiating existing leases to improve terms and increase restaurant profitability. Interpretation of lease language as well as problem solving potential lease issues. </li><li>Work with HQ departments, Development Agents, solicitors, and property agents to ensure that leases meet company policies and procedures. Assist and answer queries from Development Agents, Franchisees, HQ departments, landlord's and franchisee's legal representation on specific and general leasing and legal matters. Act as the liaison between legal representatives, landlords, property agents, banks/accountants, etc. in regard to Subway leasing requirements.
