<p>Primary Function</p> <p>Responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by handling instrumentation and anticipating the needs of the surgeon while maintaining aseptic techniques to AORN standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain skills and competencies required of the Surgical Technologist position. </li><li>Demonstrates working knowledge of service lines including use of specialized equipment. </li><li>Primary Preceptor for the scrub role. </li><li>Complies with customer service requirements. </li><li>Actively participates in QI programs. </li><li>Respond to emergency situations under the direction of a RN. </li><li>Performs all other job related duties as assigned. </li><li>Maintains and gathers supplies to perform job </li><li>Maintains BLS </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications and Specifications</p> <p>Graduation of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
