Our focus on lifestyle medicine and value-based care aligns with our mission to deliver compassionate, high-quality care!</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>We are actively seeking a PART-TIME Family Nurse Practitioner for our out-patient clinic in Albuquerque starting in July. Due to unprecedented growth, we are adding a new provider to join our dynamic team. This individual will care for a patient population that includes pediatrics and adults. In addition to our "bricks and mortar" location, we also offer a new Mobile Unit/Clinic which travels to various City of Albuquerque facilities/departments and providers will have the opportunity to work in both clinics.</p> <p>In this role, you'll work within a value-based care model, where you have the time to truly connect with and care for your patients. With appointment slots of 30 minutes and 1 hour, you'll have the space to ensure better care coordination, improved compliance, and, ultimately, healthier patients. You'll also enjoy a manageable administrative load, with ample time for charting and no work to take home in the evening. Additionally, you'll be supported by a dedicated team of Registered Nurses who will assist you in providing top-tier patient care. 20 hours a week (weekdays), 2 full days from 8:00am - 5:00pm and 1 half day (morning or afternoon/still to be determined). No late clinics, no weekends, no after-hours charting and NO CALL. Competitive compensation and benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, 401K and more!</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Function independently to perform age-appropriate history and physicals for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients. </li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's age-specific needs. </li><li>Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities </li><li>Implement interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role. </li><li>Assist with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations. </li><li>Monitor the effectiveness of interventions. </li><li>Facilitate the patient's transition within and between health care settings </li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals. </li><li>Facilitate staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Masters degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program </li><li>Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Mexico </li><li>Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in specialty area of focus </li><li>Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); PALS provider card as required by department and facility </li><li>Ideally, we would like a min of 1year experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Primary Care setting, however we will consider a new graduate FNP with prior nursing experience. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Teaching skills </li><li>Written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Listening skills </li><li>Organization skills </li><li>Time management skills </li><li>Teamwork skills </li><li>Empathy and compassion </li><li>The ability to work under pressure </li><li>The ability to provide accurate, effective care in stressful situation </li></ul> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Ready to make an impact?
