The Mattress Builder is responsible for taking pre-staged parts of the mattress and assembling them in the correct order.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Correctly assemble multiple bedding layers including springs, felt, foam and other materials in a safe and consistent manner. </li><li>Works in a two-person team to pad & cover innerspring assemblies to form mattresses. </li><li>Attaching layers of insulating materials using a hog ring gun. Attached toppers and panels by spraying hot glue. </li><li>Adhere to all safety and quality requirements while meeting or exceeding production service levels. </li><li>Participate in Department safety, quality and continuous improvement events on an as needed basis. </li></ul> <p>These duties are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties or responsibilities associated with this job.
